One of the best places in the world I’ve ever visited! The Wena Museum of Motorization, located in Oława, Poland, is the country’s largest automotive museum. Opened in June 2024, it boasts a vast collection of over 450 cars, 190 bicycles, and 100 motorcycles, offering visitors a comprehensive journey through automotive history.
Exhibits and Attractions:
- Diverse Vehicle Collection: The museum showcases vehicles ranging from pre-war models to modern supercars, with a special emphasis on Polish automotive history. Notable exhibits include pristine Fiat 126p models, some with unique backstories, such as being preserved in living rooms.
- Thematic Displays: Beyond vehicles, the museum features sections that recreate life during the Polish People’s Republic (PRL), providing cultural and historical context to the exhibits. I still remember and in some cases own the same things from the past.
