In the spirit of the 1920s of the last century
Winter and early spring days can be rather dull. At this time of year, another wave of seasonal gloom tends to hit the residents of Northern Ireland. Although the days are getting longer, it remains cold, sunlight is scarce, and rainy days are the norm.
Looking for a change of scenery and an excuse to get out of the house, we decided – together with OhVibe Creative Collective – to visit a museum just outside Belfast for a 1920s-themed photoshoot. At least, that was the goal for our modelsâ styling, as the buildings and setting themselves were much older.

Luckily, the weather was on our side. It was cold, but the sun stayed with us all day. Upon arrival, Lucas M – our “Photographer with a Walker” – was given a mobility scooter, which meant, for the first time in our groupâs history, we could enjoy a long, unrestricted walk without the usual challenges posed by his condition.
We spent nearly five hours there. Alongside the two Lucases and Natalia, we were joined by models Lucas and Natalia, as well as their daughter, Wiktoria. Thanks to the kindness of one of the volunteers, Wiktoria had the chance to showcase her talent by playing traditional Irish music on the violin.
Hereâs to more days like this!
