Belfast, St. George’s Market

Belfast, St. George’s Market

There is nothing better than Sunday with friends and cameras. This is the best way to beat a bad mood due to wintery weather. A great start to the day makes a difference. Yet again, Lucas and Natalia, my favourite OhVibe Creative Collective crew, were with me.

St George’s Market in Belfast is one of the city’s most cherished landmarks and one of the best-preserved Victorian markets in the UK. Built between 1890 and 1896, the market has a rich history and remains a vibrant hub for local traders, artisans, and food vendors. It is located on May Street in the heart of Belfast, near the River Lagan.

  • Fresh Local Produce: The market is known for its high-quality local food, including fresh seafood, meats, cheeses, bread, and organic produce.
  • Artisan Crafts & Handmade Goods: Visitors can find unique handmade jewelry, pottery, artwork, textiles, and more from talented local artisans.
  • Street Food & Global Cuisine: A variety of food stalls serve everything from traditional Irish breakfasts to exotic international dishes.
